Hi Snapt,

Thanks for your comments. Yes your right, the Curragh Plains in Kildare featured prominently in Braveheart.

They are shown to far better effect in other images in my project, but as you know yourself, you can’t show

everything in the space allotted.

Thanks for your comments. Re post production you have a point. Re framing, its not just about the model, but the landscape as well and in most cases, but not all, the centre positioning works best – for me.

Hi Tim, Thanks for your comments. Yes Ivory Flame was back. She is a very brave young woman as well as a great model. In fact I was doing her a disservice by suggesting she might not come back and was guilty of using a bit of literary license!

Unfortunately I was not able to use her this time, but will be happy to do so again once I get this project wrapped.

I love Ireland- there are so many dramatic landscapes and I’m already looking forward to my Spring tour even though the weather is often horrendous and I have a very vivid memory of sitting in a freezing waterfall at 5am… then gettting back in as I wanted to make doubly sure the cold didn’t show on my face and I had posed to the best of my ability. I think you need to focus on your framing and post production.
The images seem to lack contrast, they’re very flat.
As for the framing the model is in the center for each shot, I think it could benefit from a bit more variety.

Very interesting article and great images Eamonn. It was great reading about you artistic journey.

Also fortunately you did not put Ivory Flame off visiting your beautiful country, she has been back a number of times since, including coincidentally all of last week.
