I really enjoyed reading the artist’s “story” about these works, especially after experiencing the exhibit first-hand. While my feelings and interpretations of
each photograph in some respects do not match the artist’s, there is still a resonance between our experiences that I find powerfully satisfying.

Even without background information from the artist, the deep and complex meanings gradually reveal themselves. Later when I read her thoughts about these images posted here, I felt the author was taking me on a behind-the-scenes tour of her hidden thoughts and feelings…
